The NIW assessment depends heavily on the importance, feasibility, and potential U.S. benefit of the work you propose to pursue.

What specific work, project, business, research, or professional activity will you pursue in the United States? How could this work benefit the United States nationally—for example its economy, health, science, education, culture, technology, environment, or public welfare? What progress have you already made, and what evidence shows that you are well positioned to carry out this work? Do you have U.S. employers, clients, partners, investors, contracts, letters of interest, grants, or planned projects? Why would waiving the usual job-offer and labor-certification requirements benefit the United States? What are your reasons for moving to the United States and your longer-term plans?
